The Town of Eaton is implementing a water rate increase effective January 1, 2021 and customers will notice the increase on their following bill. The increase is needed to align the cost of service with the water rate being charged. This decision was made after an in-depth study, conducted by Stantec, deemed the rate increase necessary to continue providing quality water services, cover increasing treatment costs, and prepare for future water needs.
The new charges are below:
Base Rate (includes the first 4,000 gallons of water): $40.59
For Each 1,000 Gallons thereafter: $6.60
