Update July 25, 2022: The Street Condition Testing has concluded earlier than expected and IMS, LLC will not need to survey the roads on Tuesday, July 26, as originally planned. The expedited project timeline is due, in part, to the community's efforts to keep parked vehicles off the roadways. Thank you again for your cooperation.

______________

Community members and residents should be aware that there is no street parking in the Town of Eaton beginning Monday, July 25 through Tuesday, July 26 from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. daily. This is to allow for testing and analysis of pavement conditions and an inventory of all sidewalks, driveways, ramps, curbs and gutters, poles, signs, and more.

All streets in the town will be surveyed, and no street parking will be allowed either day due to the testing equipment used by Infrastructure Management Services, LLC.

Community members without driveways or garages are encouraged to park in public lots throughout town during this timeframe. We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.

Eaton Police will be putting up signs around town to remind residents and community members and to ensure no one is parked on the streets during the testing period.

Improving pavement and streets in Eaton has been identified as a priority for the Board of Trustees. Gathering data in 2022 to create a comprehensive pavement management plan is the first step.
