The Town of Eaton Board of Trustees is excited to announce that they have appointed Wesley LaVanchy as Town Administrator. Wesley began working as the Interim Town Administrator in August 2021 following the resignation of Town Administrator Jeff Schrier. With over two decades of local government experience, Wesley brings a skill set the Town of Eaton needs to reinvest in the Town’s current infrastructure, manage Northern Colorado's growth pressure, and implement creative ideas to improve the quality of life for the community.

“It is a privilege to have the opportunity to work on behalf of the Board of Trustees to implement their vision for the Town and provide quality services to the residents. Progress is only possible because I am surrounded by talented employees and community partners.” said Wesley.

During his time as Interim Town Administrator, Wesley has overseen the construction of the new roundabout and the cemetery expansion project, received grants exceeding $1,300,000, facilitated the creation of Eaton’s first Board Strategic Plan, increased the workforce to provide better service to the community, and has continually worked to secure the Town of Eaton’s water future.

Mayor Moser said of the appointment, “After watching Wesley accomplish so much in the short time he has served as Interim Administrator, I am confident he is the right person to partner with the Board of Trustees and guide Eaton in tackling current and future challenges. We are excited he has accepted the offer to remove the “Interim” from his title and become a more permanent part of the community.”
