The Eaton Public Library Board of Trustees is seeking applications to fill a vacancy on its Board. The seven-member volunteer Board oversees policies of the library in relation to community needs, prepares and reviews the library budget and expenditures with the directors, addresses issues of the library, and develops and monitors a long range plan. Trustees must be residents of the Eaton Public Library’s service area (Eaton School District RE-2). This appointment begins in July 1st 2020 and fills a term to June 30th 2025, and can be reappointed for additional five-year terms by the Eaton Town Board. The Library Board usually meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5:30 p.m. and has other meetings and events to attend throughout the year.
