June 18th is election day. The polling place for the election is 223 First Street in the Town Hall Auditorium and it will be open until 7:00 PM. You can vote or drop off your ballots at this location.

Residents may begin to receive their ballots for the special election regarding Senate Bill 152 (SB 152). SB 152 was passed by the State Legislature in 2005 and prohibits local control and involvement, either directly or indirectly, in the provision of areas like high speed internet. Along with it's prohibitions, SB 152 contains a provision that permits voter approval to give their communities the ability to be involved and engaged on the topic of high speed internet provision.

The contractor will be finishing well casing repairs and preparation work this weekend. The replacement pump will be delivered and installed by Wednesday or Thursday of next week, once installed the system will be operational.

The Town of Eaton (Town) has completed a draft Municipal Water Efficiency Plan Update (Plan). The Plan is designed to promote the efficient consumption of all water usage by residents, businesses, and local governments, the goal of the Plan is to encourage more beneficial use of our water resources and insure a future adequate water supply.

Due to the inclement weather are closing Town Hall for the remainder of the day and will reopen tomorrow at for our normal office hours.
CDOT and Union Pacific Railroad have completed their work at 5th Street and the crossing has reopened. Additionally, the light at 10th Street and Highway 85 is now active.
