Eaton Town Offices will be closed Monday May 28, 2018, in honor of Memorial Day.

On Friday April 27^th the Colorado Public Utilities Commission (PUC) handed down a ruling approving the closure of 5^th Street and the preliminary design concept for an active warning at the crossing (flashing light signals with gates and bells, constant warning time circuitry, new signal cabin, and new crossing surface). The PUC has requested that the final plans be submitted by the Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT) to them no later than June 1^st for their review and approval.

There will be sidewalk, curb, and gutter construction along US 85 from Collins Street to 3rd Street beginning in mid-May. The work will be done in sections and each business owner will be given prior notice of when the work will begin adjacent to their property. CDOT has released a flyer for their upcoming open house to discuss the restart of the US 85 resurfacing project. The open house will be held March 28th from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at the Eaton Town Hall Auditorium located at 223 First Street.

The Town will be asking for proof of Eaton residency (drivers license, utility bill, mail, etc.) for appliances and electronics being dropped off behind the police department.

Self-Evaluation Regarding Accessibility Pursuant To The Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA)

In accordance with ADA requirements, the Town of Eaton (“Town”) is conducting a self-evaluation of Town facilities, services, and locations to identify any potential physical barriers, policies, practices, or procedures that may limit or exclude participation by persons with disabilities.

Town Offices will be closed on Monday February 19th in observance of President's Day. We will reopen for normal operating hours the following day.
